The MERGEPORT Controller offers several additional control features for managing order flow.
Optimized POS Communication (if supported)
Enables “Long Polling” for POS integration.
- Requirement: The POS system must support this feature (currently only Xenia).
- Benefits: Faster and more efficient communication between MERGEPORT and the POS.
Online Orders Active
This option is located directly in a restaurant’s order overview and is enabled by default.
When deactivated, we inform connected delivery platforms (currently Wolt and Uber Eats) that the restaurant’s online shop is temporarily closed.
