The MERGEPORT Controller offers several additional control features for managing order flow.

Optimized POS Communication (if supported)

Enables “Long Polling” for POS integration.

  • Requirement: The POS system must support this feature (currently only Xenia).
  • Benefits: Faster and more efficient communication between MERGEPORT and the POS.

Online Orders Active

This option is located directly in a restaurant’s order overview and is enabled by default.

“Online-Bestellungen aktiv” (Online Orders Active) is at the bottom of the overview, beside the default preparation time. Example with fictional orders.

When deactivated, we inform supported connected platforms such as Wolt and Uber Eats that the restaurant’s online shop is temporarily closed.
